Ampara district is one of the districts adversely affected as a result of war situation that prevailed for the last three decades and of consequent poverty. We focus in remote villages in this district, identifying their basic needs relating to education, health, housing, livelihood, sports, protection of environment and peace building among different ethnic communities. Accordingly we have planned and implemented several community development activities in effective manner with fund raised from various resources.
