Education
Aim: Support poor students to continue studies from primary level to university education
PSF identifies children with best performance in education ,the children being not able to continue higher education due to poverty, and design action plan to help them in their studies at various levels. Presently, the PSF has membership of 3000 students who include 2450 students living under poverty line and 550 students who lost both parents. Our support and assistance depend on fund raised through well wishers and philanthropists.

Livelihood Support
Aim: Poverty Alleviation
PSF has been carrying out activities to identify families who lost bread winners and women headed families as a result of war situation that prevailed for decades and help to engage in self employment activities to eradicate poverty. The source of fund is limited for PSF to go ahead with this program. The families identified as
- Those who have adversely affected by war.
- Women headed families.
- Families with handicaps.
- Families with members who need vocational trainings.
- Families seeking support of loan facilities to engage in self employment activities.
Health Care
Aim: Introduce systems of Medical assistance for people living in villages and those who live in towns.
There are people without awareness of diseases spreading in villages. They do not have the access to medical support provided by government institutions. PSF has action plan to carry out the following activities.
- Introduce medical clinics for people affected by war in the villages.
- Introduce special medical clinic for children in the village.
- Awareness program on diseases such as dengue, HIV/AIDS among people at village level.
- Introduce medical support for handicaps.
Protection of environment
Aim: Protect environment with social mobilization and community participation
PSF has been undertaking to implement several programs with community participation to protect environment. Such activities come under three components as follows;

Providing permanent housing facilities
Aim: Construction of houses for those who displaced of residences and returned, having their houses destroyed.
PSF has action plan to identify families affected due to violence, displaced of residence and staying in temporary shelters. Several projects formulated in this regard and successfully implemented. There are more needs identified and PSF seeks partners to work with.

Information Technology
Aim: Provide access of information technology for students in remote villages.
There are poor students in remote villages without access of information technology, having affected due to war and poverty. PSF has action plan to help such students enjoy such benefits compared to students of urban areas. PSF seeks assistances and support from donors and organizations to make it a reality.
Special Teaching activity
Aim: Help students in remote villages to get best performance at examinations through special classes conducted and lead them to have higher education.
PSF has action plan to identify poor students at village level and help them to attend to evening classes organized with the main objective of preparing them for the Scholarship examinations. This program focuses on,
- Students studying at Grade-05
- Students studying at Grade-11
- Students studying at Grades, 11 & 13
