Beneficiaries: 500 poor students indentified to be clever
The organization ‘Pupil Salvation Forum’ having been located in Kalmunai, has been initiating various educational development programs in Ampara District for the last several years focusing on poor students identified to be interested in studies. There are nearly 3000 students as members in this organization and out of these students, 550 students are those who lost parents during war situation. As a part of the educational program of our organization, events of distributing learning materials needed by poor students, are being taking place. As the third stage of this program, 500 poor students have been identified in schools within the educational zones of Sammanthurai and Kalmunai, the students motivation program was taken place at Ramakrishna Mission Maha Viyalaya, Kalmunai. This program has been sponsored by Foundation of Goodness through world famous cricket player Muthiah Muralitharan.
